Prime Ministers summit in 2003

The Prime Ministers of the BEAC member countries met in Kirkenes, Norway on 10 - 11 January 2003 in order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Barents cooperation on 11 January 1993 (Kirkenes declaration). Also the governors of the 13 participating counties took part, together with representatives of the three indigenous peoples and other invited guests.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Ministers adopted a declaration with instructions and guidance for the further development of the Barents cooperation.
